Students entering this course at Canberra Valley Institute must meet the following entry requirements:
Students must be a minimum age of 18 years or above at the time of course commencement.
To enter this qualification, applicants should have successfully completed an Australian Year 12 (or an international secondary school year which is equivalent to Australian Year 12) with satisfactory results or Students may have had work and study experience if they have already completed a relevant qualification such as the CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support.
To enter this qualification, applicants must also meet English Language Requirements – IELTS overall score of 6.0 or TOEFL IBT 60 or Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) 52 or PTE Academic 50 or equivalent (test results must be no more than 2 years old). English language competence can also be demonstrated through documented evidence of any of the following:
Potential employment options are in a range of business industry areas. Students who complete this course may wish to continue their education into the BSB60120 Advanced Diploma of Business or a range of Advanced Diploma qualifications, as well as higher education qualifications in business or management.
